History

Care Initiatives Hospice began providing care in March 2009 from 6 locations in Iowa. Care Initiatives Hospice is a part of the Care Initiatives network of senior care providers located throughout the state.

Created in 1988, Care Initiatives is a not-for-profit organization and the largest single operator of quality nursing homes in Iowa. Care Initiatives currently serves nearly 3,000 older Iowans through 56 nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and independent living units.
