Care Initiatives Hospice offers compassionate care and palliative support for Iowans in the final stages of life. Our interdisciplinary approach is designed to serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those facing terminal illnesses or conditions.
Care Initiatives Hospice is a part of the Care Initiatives network of senior care providers located throughout Iowa. Care Initiatives is a not-for-profit organization serving more than 3,000 older Iowans.
We work closely with family members and caregivers to respect the wishes and needs of our patients and their loved ones. With 6 locations throughout Iowa, as well as the support network of Care Initiatives, the state’s largest not-for-profit senior care provider, we are uniquely qualified to attend to the hospice needs of patients in the critical stages of life.
We are proud, active members of The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and The Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Iowa (HPCAI), formerly the Iowa Hospice Organization. Care Initiatives Hospice is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).
