Hospice Care

Thank you for all your (Care Initiatives Hospice - Greenfield) help with our mom. She enjoyed everyone that came and helped take care of her and just ...talked to her. She was always smiling when Ashley came. So with everything that you guys helped with, even help(ed) Dad out, we send this donation in mom's name to help with whatever needed. Mom would (have) wanted us to do this. So again, thank you very much.

We want to extend our appreciation for the care and love that was shown to our father. We thank you for your kindness and support given to our family. All staff were good to us. Pam was especially helpful and Sue, the chaplain, touched our hearts and gave us God's peace and presence. Thank you again .

I am writing this letter to express my gratitude and to recognize Mechanicsville Specialty Care in Mechanicsville, IA, one of your Care Initiative care centers. My mother has been a resident there for over 9-1/2 years. She has Alzheimer's and is currently on hospice care. 
The staff is not only professional and skilled, they are caring, patient and compassionate. They give their smiles freely and can calm and reassure my mother in her confusion and anxiety. When I have visited her through the window (since COVID) I have seen my mother look up at a staff member with the look of a child seeking guidance and direction and I am convinced they are her family. The staff has changed in those 9-1/2 years but I have come to know many of them very well and they are part of my family too. 
Everyone ... are to be highly commended for their dedication in the past and heroic efforts during the COVID 19 Pandemic! I also recognize and praise the entire Care Initiative Hospice team. How reassuring it is that I can trust they are caring for and protecting my mother in such a loving way. Isn't that what anyone would want for their loved one? 

Thank you goes out to Care Initiatives Hospice (Sioux City) who recently helped guide my father through the final stages of his life. Your services were timely, effective, compassionate and well delivered. A special thank you goes out to Heidi and those that attended to our father's needs!

We would like to thank your staff for the compassionate care you all gave Marie during her final months. Not only did you help her, but also us. Being available if there were any concerns, giving comfort to our hearts knowing that she was being well taken care of, helping us spiritually and making the transition much easier for all of us. 

Mom entered Sibley Specialty Care under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. She was only there a week but we cannot express enough how wonderful the care was from both Sibley's staff and the Hospice staff. Our family so appreciated the gentleness and caring shown to our Mom.

(Greenfield) The care that was given to my father was the very best. From all of the staff - from housekeeping, nursing and the kitchen - he lacked for nothing. His special diet needs were met, his inability to walk and his health issues were dealt with professionally and great deal of care. I cannot thank Care Initiatives enough.
